1 May 2016 Walking North Chagrin
With a week in Mexico looming and May already here, the opportunities for a spring walk along the Chagrin were quickly passing. We were hoping to enjoy a spring nature walk and place a new cache along a trail by the river. Many of the blossoms were past, but we were still able to enjoy bluebells and a few white trout lilies.
We've walked this trail many times over the years and never seen a soft shelled turtle along the Chagrin River. Today we spotted two.
We left the river and made our way over to a small pond. The pond is often home to turtles and frogs with occasional wood ducks. Today we spotted a turtle and a couple frogs.
