The ANF has placed a new Smokey sign at their new headquarters in North Warren. When the facility opened the only Smokey was a flat one attached to the wall of the building.
We grabbed a few caches today including a Boy Scout cache near this soon to be opened launch spot along the east shore of the Conewango. There's not really any public places to launch on the Conewango in PA so this is a nice find. The launch isn't for the faint of heart or skill though. The Conewango is a really unsung gem in the Warren area. Most canoes and kayaks spend their hours on the Allegheny, but there's some nice water riding here.
