Our day included a pleasant visit to Lake Metroparks Jordan Creek. The falls were flowing lightly.

21 June 2024 Visiting Moebis

I had been making a piority for a visit to Moebis Nature Preserve or Sunny Lake. This evening was Moebis. My first sighting was this odd couple sharing a pair of tree branches.

19 June 2024 Cleveland Metroparks Along the Chagrin River

The evening was perfect for a visit to the Chagrin River and Cleveland Metroparks North Chagrin.

I don't know how this hole was made on this rock or why it was added. It remains a mystery.

A beautiful yellow warbler in the field at Rogers.

The toad was smaller than a dime.

Asclepia was in bloom in the field.

Wildflower penstemon was also in bloom in the field at Rogers.

18 June 2024 Returning to Huntsville

My business was done. It was time to head back to Huntsville for a night's stay before my flight home. I enjoyed a couple cache finds and seeing a new park area with birds, but was happy at the thought of going home.

The picnic area looked as though it was abandoned years ago.

This was an odd, old building near the picnic tables. I have no idea of its purpose. Perhaps it was a restroom.
