17 August 2024 Stopping in Edinboro
I was on my way home after another business trip. It was time for a break so I walked the water's edge for a bit.

8 August 2024 Two Herons
My walk at Sunny Lake gave two great opportunities to see great blue herons. The first was in an area with tree cover. I grabbed a few images and moved on.
While in the sun I spotted a beautiful mirrored image of a great blue with a perfect reflection on the water.
Both were a wonderful sight at a really tough moment. The damage from storms was still a top priority.

10 July 2024 Visiting Moebis Nature Preserve
Hummingbird moths are a fun find during the summer. They are not very common so each find is a treat. I had stopped for an after-work visit to Moebis Nature Preserve where I spotted this photogenic one.
I was also lucky that a friend arrived with his two great dogs while I was gathering images. His dogs are amazingly friendly and great on a trail.
After our walk, we parted and I took off to see what was on the water. This great blue heron was an added treat.
