I was on my way home, but wanted to stop for a few caches. It was a lousy day, but the woods still called. This was my first visit to Michaux State Forest. Even with rain and fog it still was a great place to visit. The lone cache I hunted was placed in a remote section of the forest along a ridge line. After I left Ariel and was walking to the ridge, I was surrounded by lots of birds. They were the only noise and only creatures I encountered on my peaceful journey.
