24 December 2015 Cataract Falls
We were on our way to the Cleveland Zoo when we decided to make a stop an urban park to hunt a puzzle cache. Cataract Falls is located in Cleveland Metroparks Mill Creek area. The falls were relocated many years ago for a quarry operation. Their current location is at an old railroad bridge. Passing over the falls in an old steam engine passenger train must have given an interesting view. At nearly fifty feet they are tall falls for the area and make this urban area a scenic location as well as a nice start to a quiet Christmas Eve.
An interesting piece of railroad history.
