9 July 2016 Rockin' in Elk

Long summer days give us the opportunity to drive a little farther than normal to enjoy caches in the woods in counties like Elk. We stopped on the way to hunt a few caches in McKean on the way. Besides some fun time in the woods, we hunted a cache along a power line right of way. The power line trail was lined with raspberry bushes, many of them in bloom. Lizzie has learned quickly to recognize raspberries. Our dog Toli used to pick her own strawberries. Eva and Gwen picked their own blueberries. Lizzie has now learned to help herself to ripe raspberries.
