5 September 2016 The Holiday Weekend Ends

The weekend passed quickly. Before we returned west, I took a few moments to check out the closed gentian at our home. It was a different idea to plant these close to the house, but it has worked out for years now.

On the way home we stopped for a single geocache in a gameland. It seemed strange to be geocaching with a biplane flying overhead.

We enjoyed a quiet walk with a few nature sightings including a frog that appeared to contemplating life along a stream and a few nice stands of great blue lobelia.
