14 May 2018 Wintergarden Woods

I was on my way to Indiana and wanted to stop for a walk. I had been to Wintergarden Woods near Bowling Green. I enjoyed my first visit and was happy for a return walk. Recent storms had taken a toll on the trails.

I worked my way through and enjoyed a stretch of trail with a nice variety of wildflowers.

The trail was underwater in a number of areas.

The ducks were happy.

The boardwalk was a welcome sight.

Eventually the woods opened up to the field and lots of lupines in bloom.
