I was looking for a lunch time walk and hoping for a few birds at Sunny Lake Park. Cormorants are not common visitors to the park, but they were out in plentiful numbers today.
Great blue herons are quite common at the park, but they are always a pleasant addition to a walk.
My real surprise of the walk was spotting a pair of wood ducks well hidden along the shore. I was only able to capture an image of the female before the scooted to deeper cover.
