4 April 2020 Howland Township Park

With double-state quarantines for travel between Ohio and Pennsylvania and my work requirements, there was no way for us to visit our house in Pennsylvania.  We were walking almost nightly at different nearby parks so we decided to pack the dogs and our masks to make a visit to Howland Township Park.

We hoped to spend most of our visit on the trail in a nature preserve.  When we reached the first trailhead, we found the trail under deep water.  We drove over to the second trailhead and were greeted with more deep water after a very short walk on the trail we found water levels were just as high.  Neither of us felt like slogging through water and mud with the dogs so we decided to find the caches in the park.  We donned our masks and were off for adventure.

Masked Ali signs a log.
Lizzie was keeping a lookout for muggles while Ali was visiting a cache.  The park was busy, but muggles were not a real problem nor was social distancing.

A family grieves outdoors at the loss of a loved one.  This was a sign of what was to come.
