5 April 2020 Garrettsville and Eagle Creek

These are becoming a familiar way of life.  We were out for an afternoon together.

Our first stop was Garrettsville for an Adventure Lab.  The town was nearly deserted.  A few people were at random places on our walk and a restaurant was open for order pick-ups, but seemed to have no customers.

Our plan for the afternoon was a hike at Eagle Creek Nature Preserve.  We knew there was a bridge damaged on the trail, but hoped to reach a point where we had a possibility of spotting an eagle.  We enjoyed the spring wildflowers, but the bridge was more than damaged with much of the structure washed away.  With the bridge out, the water was deeper than either of us cared to cross.  We regrouped and headed for other sections of the Preserve.
