We had an extra day to stay at our home and started the day with a walk on the property. The bright blue sky was saying spring was finally here.
We were too early for the blossoms, but hepatica plants were plentiful.
After spotting eagles in the rough weather of the day before, we both wanted to re-visit Akeley Swamp with the hope they were still in the area. The two days were a complete contrast.
On our way out of the area, I noticed this fossil-rich stone on the ground.
