After working in Columbia City, I headed out in the evening with a friend to hunt a few nearby caches. I had never been to Robinson Lake and he had unfound caches so it seemed like the right choice. I really liked the area. There was a really nice looking campground and the lake appeared to be popular with the fisherman. The first hepatica of the season at the first cache was a nice addition.
At the far side of the lake, we spotted a gaging station. I'm used to the mechanical ones or the electronic ones. I wasn't sure how this functioned.
