We were visiting a number of Lake Metroparks to find geocaches in a series. We enjoyed the trails and the sights of the season. Actually seeing a towhee instead of just enjoying it's song was the highlight of the day while we were at Girdled Road Park.
We detoured around a pond to move away from the horses and enjoyed the water lilies.
We often hear towhees, but are rarely afford a view.
