We made a short stop at Mentor Marsh hoping to see herons and egrets. The herons were very deep in the Marsh and outside camera range. Instead an egret was closer in for an image.

31 July 2023 Hummingbirds

We were returning to one of the pioneer cemeteries that is usually home to hummingbirds. We missed seeing any on our prior day visit. The wildflowers in the cemetery had brought bees collecting nectar.

We were happy to spot hummingbirds out for an early morning territory battle.
