We spent part of the day re-visiting geneology sites from past visits to the area. The rest of the day was spent enjoying a few geocache finds and exploring the area's beauty. As the days grow shorter and pollen supply is leaner, bees make a last push to collect whatever is available. Goldenrod seemed to be the choice of the day.

Erwin Pond is a peaceful place for wildlife. The nearly 2,500 acre-pond was quiet today.
