I was surprised to spot a 747 being loaded with cargo on my return home from Tulsa. These are very rare sightings for me these days with the exceptions of my visits to Seattle. With only six being built per year they will continue to have a shrinking presence at airports. Many old airlines have disappeared since the first 747 took off in 1969.
