6 March 2016 Skunk Cabbage in Our Swamp

We have a small swampy area in one corner of our property. Each spring, it's a great place to walk and look for the first signs of spring in skunk cabbage. The skunk cabbage is followed by a yellow wash of marsh marigolds. Today, it was the skunk cabbage's turn to bring us into spring.
