19 September 2020 Ohiopyle to Winchester

Our first stop while southbound were at Ohiopyle to visit the mighty waters.  We were joined at the parking lot entrance by a pair of Cadillac CT5-V test mules.  After capturing a few images of these sweet sounding cars, we were ready for a walk.

It took some work to avoid the many visitors as mask usage was weak, but we were able to stay distant while still enjoying the waters.  While we were here we completed a few stages of an Adventure Lab.

After leaving Ohiopyle we made our way to SGL111 to find the 12-year old, puzzle cache Compass Stumpus.  Ali had it solved, and it was a lonely geocache with no visitors in over a year.  After our walk in the woods, we decided to enjoy the trails by Cranberry Glade Lake which was nearby in the same gamelands.

We were happy to spot a Lesser Yellowlegs at the water's edge.

We ended our day in familiar Winchester.  We had time for a walk around town and a visit to the Old Town Walking Mall.  Mask wearing was light, but I was hoping for an opportunity to hear bluegrass from buskers.  We passed a few groups.  The one in front of Bell's was my favorite.  They were a good mix instrumentally, and she had a great bluegrass voice.  Unfortunately, I am risk averse to being anywhere near non mask wearers so our stay was short.
