17 April 2009 HawkWatch
I was on my way home and wanted to find a few caches. I usually decide by looking at the gps for the nearest. In this case, my nearest was very near this Audubon area. I parked the car and made my way. HawkWatch is a talus slope with a lot of bird activity. The rocks seemed fairly stable and the view was great. While watching the birds (and doing a terrible job getting any photos), the northern fence lizard happened to move through. He was moving from rock-to-rock and doing a strange little push-up routine. He was also slower than the birds and more suited for my picture skills today ;-).
