22 July 2018 Spartansburg

We were headed on vacation soon and knew the dogs would be off the trail for a few weeks. We stopped at Spartansburg to walk their paved bike trail for a few of the unfound caches while giving the Phin and Liz a chance for one more trail walk before we left.

Sometimes we see interesting birds on the water. We stopped by the muddy boat launch, but geese were the birds of the afternoon.

We were luckier with interesting sites along the paved area.

Our returing walk yielded more success on the water with this great blue out hunting a meal.
