We finally placed our new cache at Chapin. It was only about a month after the permit was issued. The trails were quiet as we made our way around to place the four-stage multi. The place won't be so quiet in a few weeks when snow arrives and cross country skiers show up. This is one of the most popular cross country locations in Northeast Ohio. Because of the cliffs, the park adds fences around large sections of the trail to prevent skiers from taking a long fall.
Falling over the side here would truly hurt.
