21 July 2018 Caching Elk

We always enjoy a visit to Elk County. The trails are fun with plenty of geocaching opportunities. Today we weren't going to let a grey summer afternoon keep us from enjoying the adventure.

A few pinks near the parking to start the day.

If you are going to be really close to a snake in Elk County, this is much better than a rattlesnake. He was behind us as we signed the log. He may be coiled up and watchful, but this was just and interesting find along the way.

We eventually had some sunshine break through.

We missed the cache at this retail location, but enjoyed stopping to see the vintage beechcraft atop th building.
