Gwen was quietly watching me through the rails on a chair back as I finished some work on the computer. She was waiting for that sign to let her know we were going to hit the trail
I think this is getting ready to be a Halloween Cactus. It used to bloom near Christmas. Much like holiday shopping seasons, Christmas became Thanksgiving. Now its about halfway between Thanksgiving and Halloween.
