I was planning to cache in a park along the Spokane River. I didn't get too far before getting wet with a thunderstorm. I was still lucky and able to spot a couple nice birds on the trail before the skies opened.
With all my trips to Spokane I somehow managed to miss this train pointed towards the street. The pseudo Southern Pacific Daylight paint scheme caught my eye, but something wasn't quite right. It turns out this is actually an old Pennsylvania Railroad E8 that was purchased by a dentist, repainted in daylight colors, and used as a dentist's office.
I come from a modest beginning. Eating mongolian barbeque in Spokane is exotic to me.
