11 September 2012 Favorite Caches
We found a dozen geocaches today and marked four as favorites. In our time of caching, we've marked less than five percent of our finds as favorites so any day where one-third get the vote is an awesome day.
We started our day at Clarkson University. In a truly odd behavior for me, I hit the trail with no camera. It was too bad I did. Our last cache was at one of the nicer birding platforms I've visited. There was no activity at the eagle's nest across the water, but the view was a great place to start the day. After that, we made our way to a nearby wetlands for a nice walk along the edge of the wetlands. From there, the rest of the day was mostly about some wonderful water.
We walked out on this rock to take a few pictures. Ali spotted a frog hanging out in one of the pools on top of the rock (yellow arrow). It looked like the frog had his own recreation spot.
