Scarily, he is getting on in years. Since he was a little older when we rescued him, it seems the years with us have been very short. His once tan muzzle is slowly receding into old beagle white. After a long trail outing at Canalway, we gave him most of the day to rest before heading to Metzenbaum for a short walk.
We were surprised to see the boardwalk closed. At first we thought there was damage to the boardwalk which forced the closure. We later found out there is a project planned to improve flow of the stream and improve water quality in the stream. We will be happy to see this project and the improvements it brings.
