I was headed west to Fort Wayne and stopped at one of the Turnpike plazas. My eyes were drawn to the old Falcon sitting in the parking lot. The note in the window said the car was inoperable and would be claimed soon. It was a fun site of a rarer old car. Falcons were economy cars. They were driven and used up or turned into rods since the car was set up to handle small block V8's. There are few survivors that are close to bone stock. There are even fewer sporting a pair a fender skirts. This oldie is a '61 or a '62. I hope it made it home and is back on the road.
