15 June 2019 Caching Through The Rain

Today was one of those days where the rain never seems to go away.  It let up at times, but never really left.  I was traveling for work so we wanted to walk with the dogs.  We decided to visit a few Lake Metropark locations including Liberty Hollow and Helen Hazen Wyman.  Puddles and mud were the words to describe the trails today, but so many of the Lake Metropark locations off great views of the Grand River making most days a good day to visit.

There are some large Canadians (glacial erratics) that were left in the waters of the Grand as the glaciers receded.

The heavy rains left run-off plunging over the side of one of the sheer walls along the Grand.

Summer rain or not, the weather eventually chased us to an early end to our afternoon.
