15 July 2021 Dragonflies and a Heron

 I was back in my office and taking a phone call by the pond.  Mid-summer brings dragonflies, frogs, and herons.  There were no frogs visible, but dragonflies were plentiful.

There was a heron on the far side of the pond.  It was nearly 90 so the heron was using its beak to control its temperature and gain cooling.
