We found the cache at this site in late April while we were out with kcepenn for their 2000th find. While we were here, Ali noticed some leaves that appeared to be orchid leaves. Today she wanted to stop back and see if there were orchids. I like climbing in the rocks here :-0 so it was an easy decision. No orchids :-( , but after a long search we found the leaves again. Later as we were playing in the rocks, we found the leaves again. This time they were attached to yellow clintonia. We had never seen yellow clintonia before. How cool is that?
