6 September 2014 Riding the Western Reserve Greenway Trail
After spring and summer had passed with no bike rides, we got two in September. ;-) Today's ride was a journey in Ohio along the old north-south railroad grade in Ashtabula County. We started at the southern end where we had already found the caches so we could enjoy a longer ride. Once we reached the unfound caches we started to alternate between finding and skipping caches so we weren't stopping constantly. The trail dried quickly from the earlier rain so we were able to enjoy our ride and see the sights.
Many of the caches on this trail have code words that can lead to a geocoin at completion of the trail. If this cache had a code word, it might be either "poison" or "ivy". It works well for now since I can make these retrieves and prevent Ali from coming in contact.
Can this be a future Craigslist barn find or maybe a field find.
The rain held off and we got back before dark. It was really fun to geocache a section of this trail on a bike.
