2 January 2019 Chippewa Rail Trail

I had vacation to burn and the area was snow free so we extended the holiday for a longer walk along the Chippewa Rail Trail.  The trail is interesting.  One side of the road is paved.  The other is a grass path.  Most bikes could handle both.  There were a few intrepid riders out, but mostly dog walkers and runners.

We enjoyed a number of cache finds and a few bird sightings.

We also detoured away from the trail to visit this older cemetery tucked in front of a golf club.

The local business has an interesting business idea for spring.

Early January days aren't very long in Ohio, but we made the most of the daylight hours.
