1 May 2018 Climbing Up In Dishman Hills
I didn't get my fill of hiking and climbing in Dishman Hills the afternoon before so I stopped this evening to enjoy a perfect spring evening on Dishman's trails.
The holly-leaved barberry is the state flower of Oregon. It is native to eleven states in the US and BC in Canada. I don't remember seeing it before, but it was in blossom this evening.
