27 April 2018 Fallen Ash

We were heading to Lake Metroparks to give the dogs a walk when this 64 Nova wagon passed us on the highway. I love old cars. It was great to see this one out doing what it was made to do by hauling someone's ladder.

It was a beautiful day for a walk at Hogback Ridge Park. The trail is just an out and back, but we enjoyed out time on the trail.

Along the trail there were large piles of logs left behind by the park system cutting the park's ash trees. These beautiful trees will be missed as the emerald ash borer continues to devastate them.
