An AGT cache in Venango had been disabled and was going to be archived soon so we made the trip to find it and a few other local caches. We stopped at Kennerdell for a dnf before we headed for the AGT at Dennison Point. The Dennison Point cache was one of a few in the gamelands and state forest. The area was scheduled to become Allegheny Gorge State Park a number of years ago. The state ran out of money and converted the area to a gameland. It is the best-looking game land we've ever seen. The area has the best executed letterbox-hybrid we've ever found. If your here, be certain to take the extra walk to check out the iron furnace along Bullion Run.
