8 December 2012 CMP

We were hosting a 12-12-12 event, and I wanted to place a few caches in Cleveland Metroparks for event attendees to hunt. Ali wanted to be out for a bit, so we hit the trails in South Chagrin and by Shadow Lake. We stayed to the mostly level trails and enjoyed the day despite the cold and spotty rain. We even spotted the hidden CMP Christmas Tree in the Arboretum. We stopped for a couple of caches in Bedford and enjoyed a walk through the Christmas lights in the town square. Hot chocolate at Caribou and a visit to our favorite Christmas tree on the way home rounded out a gentle day.
