Lake County Soil and Water Conservation offered dogwood, serviceberry, and redbuds in their spring sale. We have been successful with all three in Pennsylvania so we purchased more. On the way to pick up the trees and drive back home, I stopped for a few caches including one at the old Wildwood Estate in Mentor. The 25-room mansion serves as the city's cultural center now, but was a summer home when built in 1908. It is listed on the National Register.
