I was in town on the way home from a business trip. Ali was driving from Ohio and would be arriving later so I took the morning to head out for some cache maintenance. It was a perfect spring day to be in the ANF.

Later, when Ali arrived she wasn't up to hiking, I headed off on our trail to work on cutting a large downed tree away from the stream and relieve the trail for us hiking. We don't have a chainsaw so it took a couple hours to get most of the tree cut into pieces.
