27 January 2017 Seeds

There was a time when I would happily visit the local nursery in the dark days of winter to stock up on seeds for the upcoming spring. Now, I buy a few packs on the slim hope that my everyday duties will give me a window to start at least a few plants. This year my hopes are pinned on pumpkins, basil, oregano, zinnias, and marigolds. I took a flyer on a couple packs of cosmos, but know those likely won't be planted. If I am lucky we can add in a few tomato plants. There's always hope...
