23 December 2018 Richfield Heritage Preserve

We had one last trip to Richfield Heritage Preserve to find the last caches here. It was cold and there was some snow on the ground, but we enjoyed our walk.  This trip included a few new trails we hadn't visited.

There was just enough icy snow to make the walkways slippery.

I enjoyed the waterfall while Ali looked for the tough hide in the area.  I've never been interested in looking for tough hides.  I would rather enjoy the area surrounding the hide and move on.  This was the third visit to this waterfall.  I enjoyed the peaceful water, but don't care to return for the cache.

We were hoping for a few ducks on the water, but all was quiet today.

When we left the Preserve, we finished with a late afternoon walk at the Carter-Pedigo Hiking Trails in Richfield.  We've visited the quiet trails before and were happy to return.
