25 July 2012 Two Hawks

I was tired from a lot of driving and didn't want to do much more than take a walk. There is a cache behind the hotel which I have never tried to find. It is about a one mile walk round-trip and seemed like a great way to get some steps without driving anywhere. As I approached the cache I was treated to the site of a pair of nesting hawks. They were beautiful, but really unhappy with my approach. I stayed long enough to watch them for a few minutes and get some images of the male before turning back and leaving them in peace. Some days it's not about signing the log.
