22 July 2017 Damp Visit to North Chagrin

I was headed south of the border tomorrow, and we had a cache reported missing so we decided to take a walk at North Chagrin. It was a wet day so Squire's Castle was quiet. Normally a Saturday is filled with visitors and a number of wedding photo shoots. Today, we were mostly alone.

Dingers Marsh looked lush in the damp afternoon.

Usually we see fairy candles while hiking Pennsiylania during July. Nothing was usual this year. This unsuspected sighting was a lone one of the season for the flowers from black cohash.
