We planned an extended walk on the Ernst Trail, but stopped at Geneva Swamp to first watch the birds. Only ducks were on the menu today at the swamp.
On to Ernst
This song sparrow was bouncing around in the brush near the edge of the wetlands.
Ernst is an old railroad grade. The wetlands beside the grade were filled with skunk cabbage.
The trail was the perfect place to spend an near spring afternoon.
