9 March 2021 Hope for Better Days

I didn't sleep much the evening before.  We had both combined to chase possible appointments for COVID-19 vaccines.  We were very happy to have them a half-hour apart at the same location.  We didn't care that the appointments were two-hours away.

It's not our chosen grocery store, but today it was a wonderful sight.

Standing in line for a half hour was an easy thing to do.

Once we got close, the line moved quickly.

Then is was over for the first shot.

We celebrated the first vaccines the way we do many things.  We stopped at a park.  We walked a bit.  We enjoyed the birds and a couple geocaches.

Our side effects were limited to a pair of sore arms which were gone by early the next day.  In four weeks we would be done with the second phase.  The relief was immense.
