Coltsfoot is one of the earliest wildflowers. They were in bloom in the park today.
The glacial kettle was busy today with ring-necked ducks.
Walking the woods before the leaves are out gives better opportunity to spot the nest craft of birds.
When our walk at Burton Wetlands was completed we made a first visit to Portage Parks Shaw Woods.
