10 June 2014 Antoine Peak

It was evening two of my favorite places in Spokane. The first time I visited Antoine Peak it was over 100. I was happy it was a little cooler this evening so Ali could enjoy the area without baking at the higher temperatures I enjoy. We enjoyed a different mix of wildflowers this evening and more open trails. Ali spotted a black-headed grosbeak to round out a fun evening of hiking and geocaching. We had just started back when we ran into a group of hikers out for the evening. A little later back at the parking area we weren't surprised to see a lot of Subarus. :)
