29 May 2014 Golden Hill State Park
I was in town for an audit so my days ended on time leaving me the opportunity to explore a new place. It was a perfect evening to visit a state park where I hadn't been. The park exists mostly for camping and dock access to Lake Ontario, but there is a trail along the lake which goes to the ruins of an old estate which predated the park. An old stone lighthouse is located near the camping area which was crowded with spring visitors. There were no boaters out this evening so the park by the docks was mine as was a perfect spring sunset.
Wall work and inserts at the old mansion site.
