It was a short day at today’s meeting so I was able to spend a free afternoon and grab our first New Zealand cache. My first stop on a walking trek was at Mount Hobson. The top of the area gave a great view of Auckland’s skyline including Sky Tower, the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere. I heard a lot of different birds on the trail (as usual I didn’t see them). The flowers and blossoms were taken as I walked to and from the summit. I left our New Zealand Ladybug travel bug here. Hopefully she will travel all over the islands.
